Blackout

Rory is a metahuman born with the ability to access the Shadow Dimension and manipulate Shadowstuff. He was invited to join the Dark Protectors legacy, a group of heroes with darkness- and magic-based powers that others might find "evil" or at least suspicious. Rory's goal is to use his affinity with darkness to make the world a brighter place, if he can. If nothing else, being a hero helps him resist the dark temptations of the shadows.
