Liam’s grandfather was a silver-age superhero, Red Arrow. When he died, he willed his bow and schematics for various trick arrows to Liam, along with a sizeable trust fund administered by Sutherland, the Red Arrow’s aged sidekick and mechanic. Liam’s family is wealthy and influential, and politically opposed to “masked freaks” – probably born of the resentment Liam’s dad feels toward his own, often absentee, father. Liam is excited to embrace his grandfather’s legacy.
