An evil robot supervillain with long term memory malfunction, believes it's the 1950s. Originally a StarrCo ButlerBot, a model that was briefly popular among the affluent in the middle of the 20th century. ButlerBots had one major design flaw, however - their processing power was enormous. When confined to menial tasks and subjected to abuse and neglect by mentally inferior humans, ButlerBots tended to develop personality disorders like depression, antisocial traits, and a generally morose attitude.
This particular Craniac unit was damaged in a supervillain attack. It drew the conclusion that superheroes are bad and has been plotting to destroy superheroes ever since.
