Detective Ana Garcia

A detective with the ECPD who is tired of being shown up by young superheroes.
Ana is one of the youngest detectives at the Central Precinct and is always on the lookout for ways to prove herself. She views many of the old guard in the department as being lazy and corrupted from relying on superheroes to handle the tough cases. Ana mistrusts supers. She's ambivalent toward metahumans as a whole, but doesn't like the idea of people with powers acting as de facto law enforcement.
Ana's secret is that her brother, Andres, is a metahuman. He dreamed of being a hero but wound up being arrested after he burned down a warehouse while attempting to take down some local drug dealers.
