Sophia had a really rough childhood and was basically left to her own devices. She witnessed some really messed up stuff on the streets of Empire City. She was heading down a dark path until the Dollmaker recognized something in her and intervened. Something about the Dollmaker's creepy vibe really resonated with Sophia, and she's happy for the opportunity to help clean up the city.
