Garrett’s family are worshippers of the Old Ones, the ancient mad gods of the Chthonians. The Greers served as agents of the Chthonians in their neverending quest to wake their gods and take back the Earth from the “infection” of humanity. Garrett secretly studied forbidden magics and used these powers to escape, vowing to fight the machinations of the Chthonians and their eldritch masters. Garrett's life is exceedingly strange, but he believes a sense of normalcy is worth fighting for.
