Halcyon City's Natural and Supernatural Disaster Unit is tasked with protecting civilian victims of the frequent supervillain plots, alien invasions, etc. that plague Halcyon City. While most of the NSDU staff are normal, it is not unheard of for superheroes or others with metahuman abilities to be employed there.
