Being abducted by aliens is a surprisingly common occurrence among young people in Halcyon City, so when Quincy was beamed aboard a marauder vessel he figured all he needed to do was wait to be rescued. After a few years, he realized he was on his own. He stole a shuttle and figured out how to make his way in the galaxy. He never really though much about returning to his home planet - everyone there abandoned him after all - but after a shady deal went south he needed somewhere he could blend in and that meant coming back to Earth. Quincy doesn't really think of himself as a hero, but trouble does seem to follow him and it's best to be prepared.
