Tirpazk

Although not quite the collection of mismatched extremes that Sur’Dhanza is, Tirpazk has its own eccentricities. The most defining feature of the continent is its enormous, crescent-shaped bay, within which is a massive flooded canyon of towering stone pillars. These pillars, and the maze of passages they create, are home to the more wild, savage trifecta of indigenous peoples on Tirpazk. Outside of their sheltered cove, however, a single power holds sway.   While the curved arms of mountainous landscape that create Tirpazk’s iconic bay are largely barren, with sandy shores that can only support the most basic of plant life, the vast majority of the continent’s actual landmass is coated in a dense rainforest. From east to west across the southern regions of the land, the thick canopies give way only to the Hronchuk and Mount Palk. The former is a massive lake - although the name is usually also applied to the two smaller deposits that have been formed by the construction of several dams by the region’s inhabitants - which is fed by the rivers running down from the snow-capped slopes of the latter.   Off the western shore, separated from the mainland only by a small channel, lie what are thought to be the only examples of temperate, fertile terrain in the entire region. Despite this fact, the two main islands of this small formation remain entirely uninhabited by the region’s indigenous populations, as they seem to believe the open land to be some kind of ill omen, unprotected by the monstrous trees they’ve grown accustomed to.
