Three lives. Three legends.   A boy leaves home, despite the danger, despite the cries to turn back or abandon hope. Not for some grand destiny, but for a fire in his heart, the burning of wanderlust that can no longer be ignored. Any moment he could die, his life snuffed out like a burning candle in a hurricane. He knows that, yet in spite of it, he carries on wherever the wind takes him. Destiny did not carry him, prophecy did not tell of his coming. His own feet carried him, and if anyone foretold his arrival, it was the wind, that had brought him to begin with.   A girl runs from home in terror, her body broken, and her heart shattered. There's no hope for her, those who see her cry demon, and yet somehow she was saved. Saved by a circus that didn't care what she was, instead, accepting her for who she was. She was put back together, given a purpose in the life of an acrobat. Yet it wasn't enough when offered a place in a guild of thieves, she jumped at the chance. Maybe it was a mistake, perhaps it was impulsive, as she dances from shadow to shadow, she can't help but feel there is something more out there for her. Something in the land calls out to her like a siren, and it is only a matter of time before she follows.   A queen dances on the strings of a puppeteer. She should be a leader, the face of a nation. Instead, she is but a doll, held in check by the firm hand of a cruel usurper. Every night she lets out a silent cry for freedom, one nobody can hear. If she had wings, maybe she would fly away, but instead, she has walls of shadow boxing her in. One day her protector arrives. Somehow he can hear her cry, maybe it's because he's crying out too? If she listens close, the queen thinks she can hear it. Perhaps it's hopeless for the both of them, one chained by his duty, she by one man's toxic ambition.   Three souls wanting for freedom. Three hearts robbed of hope. Three lives that would change the future of our world.
