Sommet Svomwhom

SVOMWHOM PEAK Standing far above the bogs and swamplands of southern Ahznomahn, this tall hill overlooks the Kalamaran Sea to the east and the Emerald Sea to the southwest. Covered in tall grasses and sharp jutting rocks, the natives avoid it. They believe it is an ancient burial mound for a mighty god who perished at the dawn of creation, and the very sharp rocks are his broken bones, piercing the skin of the earth. Vohven Jungle natives occasionally make pilgrimages to this site and make sacrifices to their primitive idols. Ahznomahn, seeing its strategic value, attempted a number of times to establish a stronghold there, but so far, their efforts have met with disaster. Lost supplies, troll attacks and freakish storms prevent any progress thus far. With the high cost of moving supplies and the previous failures, Ahznomahn has all but abandoned plans to colonize this site.
