I would like to thank Kenzer & Co for their awesome products and more specificaly David S. Kenzer for allowing me to use the official Kingdoms of Kalamar material on this portal. Most of the content (fluff) on this wiki comes from the Player’s Guide and the Campaign Guide . The official Kingdoms of Kalamar website has a good overview of the world and links to purchasable products. Besides being one the best detailed (in my opinion) campaign setting for D&D and other Fantasy TTRPG systems, Kingdoms of Kalamar is the official setting for the latest Hackmaster edition. © Copyright 1994, 2011 Kenzer and Company, All rights reserved.

Living Kalamar pulling in 25 or so tables of gamers -- double what the RPGA expected (those twirps). Kalamar will soon see more support than ever before as we're HM over to it as the "officially" sanctioned world of HM. This will allow us to combine our product teams and create more setting material. Essentially, it'll be more of a generic world than now with "crunch" for web downloads (so if you're a freelancer reading this, you'll still need to supply the crunch). I highly doubt that after 4.0 D&D release it'll be an official "D&D" world. I'm also expecting GH to finally fade to black and another major setting to be put to pasture amongst much teeth gnashing and public outcry, but I could be wrong as employees from the coast drop faster than helium balloons in a nail storm. While I'm progosticating, also expect no "open" license with 4.0 and another RPG rift of 1st ed/2nd ed/3.0/3.5/4.0/4.x/HM that will make RPGs even less viable as a business. this will also lead to a certain public corporation eventually deciding to sell off the game to the highest bidder (Dave starts saving pennies...). So to bring things back full circle, we have a number of irons in the fire that will slowly trickle out, but a rapid release of new product won't be seen until after D&D 4.0 is released (2 years from GenCon, is my educated guess). Kalamar won't go away (hey, it was officially 12 years old at origins!!), but you may be chatting source material with fans of several different systems.Obtained through the Wayback Machine.
