Ethereal Forager

A gargantuan elemental creature closely resembling whales of the sea, but which prefers to swim through the clouds, instead. They are native to the skies above the Ridgefell Mountains and are rarely seen at lower elevations except during their annual migrations to and from the sea where they return to give birth to their calves. They migrate to the seas in late winter to give birth in early spring and return to the skies in mid-to-late fall. They are generally harmless, but they will fiercely protect their young if threatened.
