George Bardo

George Joseph Bardo (/ˈbɑɹ doʊ/, born 9 Trama 1922) is an award-winning Mancunian journalist and best-selling author. Known for chronicling the lives of underworld wise guys and elite power brokers, always with a sympathetic eye for the working class people of Mancunia, he is the author of six books and has written a regular column for the Manchester Guardian since 1971.
