Negamu (nay-GAH-moo)
Often depicted as a winged snake raven creature Negamu created the goblinoid races and many of the people of the underdark realm. Spiteful and full of pride Negamu is the only other god that can rival Sendar's age and power. They are often locked in somekind of cosmic pissing contest that Negamu is always determined to win at all costs. In their gambit for ultimate control of all that they deem theirs Negamu emboldened his followers to start many wars and much more suffering on the mortal plane. Eventually, Negamu was banished for directly meddling with the affairs of the mortals too much by taking revenge on one in particular who had bested them in wit and trickery. For that is the one rule all deities share.
The banishment prompted a holy war in the heavens that most mortals are not even aware of. The end result for the those trapped by a mortal coil was the absense or receding of the gods. Not much is known about what happened and it is only recently that the gods have returned from that mysterious event. Nagamu is with them still but less powerful than they once were.
Many clans of the Drow and Duegar worship Negamu as well as the Naga, Orc, and goblinoid races. However, most of the civilizied realm shunned Negamu's following after the Lich King Nezathus began the plague wars in thier name.
