King

The title of King is used across the land, but it can mean very different things depending on where you are. In the same sense, where once it was almost necessary to have a King or Queen, modern governmental styles have (arguably) done away with the position altogether. 
However, whether your anointed by god or backed by a parliament, a king is simply iconic.
