The Capitol

The former capitol of the empire used to have a name, but it was lost in the wake of the disaster that wiped the empire from existence. The location is now a destroyed ruin. The soil is still stained black and will remain unusable for thousands of years. The only buildings left standing were those with great concentrations of magic, but these were few and far between. The result is a hilly landscape dotted with blackened husks, like a child's block city that was abandoned halfway through construction.
