Session 12 Report, April 12 2022

General Summary

• Characters woke to a fine breakfast prepared by Rysar.

• Sitting around the counter in the taproom, each character shared their backstory, where they came from and some of their history

• After discovering more about each other, the alarm that Anvil placed at each entrance went off and a knock was heard.

• Heincrich and Pennie decided they where done adventuring for a while and will stay put to run Trollskull Manor and re-open the taproom and keep the house up

• Mirt Bregalstone, on the request from Volo, visited and shared with the party that he knew where a secret entrance was to Xanathar’s Lair, which would eventually lead to the Cache of Dragons (or Vault of Dragons, same)

• He befriended the party and recognized Tiffany, the son of Riffany

• Tiffany was told that his father was a Harper… an altruist faction that had the goal of keeping power out of the hands of evil tyrants.

• Mirt then gave the party several magic items to assist them with going into the lair. He gave them 3 healing potions, a cloak of protection and 3 lustrous arrows.

• He left shortly afterwards and the party decided to ask 3 more questions of the Stone of Golorr

• The party learned that Aurinax guards the vault of dragons… Aurinax being an ancient gold dragon

• They also learned that Aurinax may be reasoned with if the characters are truthful about their intentions with the wise Aurinax

• The party having chosen their rooms for the night and Anvil setting up in the taproom… late at night, Anvil heard voices outside, next to the wall and suspicious movement.

• The session ended
