In this world, all the Gods but one are sleeping, but that doesn't stop various cults from trying to wake them up, or simply using the powers they grant in their sleep to amass power for themselves.Tempricida is said to be the country where The One Who Does Not Sleep put the rest of the Gods into their state of seemingly permanant rest over two and a half millennia ago. Since then the island of Tempricida has become one where kill or be killed is the norm. What little Governments manage to pop up for communities are frequently corrupt. Cults to all the Gods, awake or otherwise, all form their own self-contained communities here. So, while good people do exist, it's difficult to live in Tempricida without finding your hands at least a little dirty.
