Session 9/10 Report

General Summary

August 10, 8318

The party found Mirna Dendrar's missing necklace in the wreckage of her old shop. They doubled back and searched the building that seemed to be leaking the most ichor, and woke two mutated creatures known as Ichor Striders. Dispatching them with ease they proceeded eastward through the town where they found the true source of the Ichor plaguing the ruins. A overbuilt automated Thresher machine. The party doubled back, Requesting the help of Reidoth, who also brought his Apprentice, Luca, Current Instance of the Water Bearer. Between them they were able to destroy the machine, and stop the flow of ichor into the environment.

August 11-13, 8318

After a night's rest in the relative safety of Reidoth's Cabin, The party departed back to Phandalin. Along the three day journey they encountered a goblin adventuring party, newly formed from phandalin, a section of path, decorated by spiderwebs, and a familiar owlbear, now much less a threat than it was when first encountered.

August 14, 8318

The party returned to Phandalin, and split apart to acomplish some individual goals. Dr. Cottonwood added a great amount of information to her books about the effects of ichor, Bree sent off a letter, and Luca spent her afternoon working for the Fangcrushers as payment for turning her owlbear pelt into a workable cloak.
In the Evening, Dr. Cottonwood met up with Gundren, Showing him the map to the Mines of Phandelver. He requested the party's assistance in getting to and possibly clearing out the ancient mines so that they could be restored to working order, and promised them first pick of any artifacts left over in the mine from when it was abandoned as well as a cut of the profits once he gets it operational again. As the day drew to a close Bree and Farah Challenged eachother to Fisticuffs as a way to blow off some steam.
