Keali

This race of aquatic hominids make their home in the Perturbatus Ocean. Each keali varies in its own oceanic appearance, with some lacking bipeds and looking more like merfolk and others look more along the lines of sharks. The reasoning for this variety of evolutionary features has to do with the Keali's constant contact with gates to the Void and mutative substances native to the bottom of the ocean. This species is equal parts wise, hearty and charismatic in ferociously engage in their unending crusade against the forces of darkness.
Their race's leadership in the past praised their oceanic deities to empower themselves and continue their unending war against the forces of the Void. Currently, the race worships and garners power from the ancient sea dragons that inhabit the great seas that surround the world.
