Risi

Risi are an artificially-mutated group of people that the Thurisaz created. The Risi's creation was due to the Thurisaz's desire to decided to weave their ancient magic and technological progress into making a race of people that are capable of withstanding the great might and minds of the Thurisaz while also holding the souls that the gods made for the Risi. This is so that the ancient giants themselves are able to operate against the gods with mixed results within the psychically potent minds of the Risi without the gods smiting the Risi out of commission.
The Risi themselves are capable of communicating beyond the veil of space and time to the Dreamlands proper with their creators, the Thurisaz. Every time the Risi sleep, they remember more and more of the legacy that their ancestors' had and only dream of the lives their ancestor's had.

Basic Information

Anatomy

A Risi can arise from almost any race due to the Thurisaz being the ancestor of almost all mortal races in Tenebra. Yet, they will have odd traits of their giant ancestors. This can include abnormally large height, psychic prowess, odd hair and eye color, as well as several other mutations that are reminiscent of the nearly-extinct race of giants.

Genetics and Reproduction

A Risi, unlike some races of Tenebra, can mate with any other race save for most Beast Races. The child will take on the features of the non-Risi parent due to the history of reproduction of the Thurisaz.

Biological Cycle

The Risi can live for an unknown period of time. Depending on the Risi's connection with their ancestor, they can live downwards of what their original race was up to millennia.
