The Great Holy War

The Time of the Great Holy War, T.G.H.W., was a time when a great holy war ravaged every part of the globe and encompassed the death of countless gods and mortals alike. An empire crumbled to ash and the world wept as their gods dwindled into diminished power. This conflict signaled cataclysmic devastation that split the continents into two major pieces.
By the end of the war, six Empyrean gods remained and one had been born. Sights of the war's devastating toll can still be spotted and talked about to this day by the Empyrean Church. It is a constant reminder that we live in the Era of Dolor.
