Escarra (Es-Car-Uh)

Escarra is an island that was founded by pirates. It has since been settled and the settlement has grown away from the pirate culture it once had. The Pirate King is still what they call their leader though.
This island is the best trade hub in DeuSolis and sailors from all around the world come here to sell their loot.

The ruler of Escarra is the Pirate King Lucia Valverde
Language spoken: Escarran, but there is a good mix of everything because of all the ships that have traveled from across the land.
Escarra is Low to middle class.
They have little to no military. If something invades, they depend on the ships and people to rally.
Main Trade: Bamboo, traded goods from other places
The people of Escarra value Freedom, Respect and Discretion.

Escarra has no ties to the church, Fidem, or the Queen. They are an independent island.

Laws:

• Mind your own business. If the business your minding leads you to trouble, that is your problem.
• Respect that not everyone wants your problem to be their problem, so if you make your problems their problems, then they are permitted to treat you as their problem and deal with you accordingly.
• Treat others fairly and you will be treated fairly in return. Treat others unfairly and you will be treated in the same unfair manner in which you treated them.
• No weapons are to be brandished in largely populated areas. Duels and fights shall be held in the pit, the arena, the open sea, or outside the main plaza and residential areas.
