Tiamat

The Dragon Queen

Legend states that Tiamat was born for the remains of the first dragon Io. When Io battled the primordials during the dawn war he was split into two by a death throws of a great elemental. From the two halves of Io arose the progenitors of all dragons, from one half came the Platinum Dragon; Bahamut the first of the metallic dragons and the other half came the fearsome Tiamat, the mother of chromatic dragons.
Depicted as a five headed dragon (one head of every color of chromatic dragon), the Queen of Dragons is dedicated to the amassing of power and fortune in all of the material plane.
