All Consuming Fiction

This tome seems at once unassuming and generic, but also irresistibly conspicuous on any shelf. It is not that anything is actually different about the book, it just always manages to edge itself out in a bookshelf. Get itself caught on another book, and pulled free accidentally. It has that comfortable weight where it sits in your hand, and the pages are well loved enough that they lay flat without needing to be held in place. Comfortable. Thats what the book is, it seems like something familiar and comfortable. Why not have some hot chocolate and scones? Sit back in a big wooden chair and do what you do in a library. Read. You won't be able to pull yourself away.

Purpose

This book contains information regarding the Archivals. Primordial creatures that feed variously on story, knowledge, and the least of them on trivia.

When a person with a powerful enough imagination reads the book, they can be pulled into a trance like state. Their consciousness leaving their body and communing with the Fiction.
