Featherbeard Dwarves

During the last Decrept War the Purifier was badly injured and took up a temporary roost in the mountains to the south of the Tense River. The phoenix rested there, soaking the earth in its blood as it was cared for by the Feathered Hope.

Centuries after the death of the Purifier, the blood seeped deep enough into the mountain that it gave rise to the Featherbeard Dwarves. A race of people born of the earth and the divinity of the Purifier.
