River Traveler Pancakes

Years ago Whombomp Abomp Bamboo, wild on a mirthlichen bender, created the first batch of River Traveler Pancakes. It was an insane idea, to combine the greatest ingredients from all over the River Basin in order to make the fluffiest, heartiest, and sweetest pancakes. Which is why it calls for Twistenwheat, Enormoose Butter, and the finest of Maple Syrups.

Manufacturing process

Each of the three legendary components has its own process by which it needs to be harvested and processed. Whombomp's Recipe would call out the need for Twistenwheat, Enormoose Butter, and Maple Syrup. Maple Syrup of course is easy to find, there are maples through much of the northern basin. But, rumor has it that the bigger the Maple, the better the sap and subsequent syrup. Now Twistenwheat, that only grows sporadically in the Twistenwud, and traversing that region risks confrontation with the Fortch Horde. But Enormoose Butter? One would need to firstmost, find an Enormoose. And secondly, figure out just how you intend to milk it. If asked, Whombomp will think, raise an eyebrow, and decline to explain how he came by Enorbutter.

Twistenwheat is not truly wheat, but rather a kind of reed that grows wild in the Twistenwud. It has green stalks and at its best season, a dusty white flower pours out from the highest stalk. If collected in this state, it can be refined into a flour of unparalleled quality. Meals made with this flour can restore 1d6 hit points when consumed as part of a short rest.

Enormilk

No knows who the first to discover the health benefits of Enormilk was. But they were a brave person. The task of approaching an Enormoose, and successfully milking it without being frozen where you stand is a daunting one. But for those who accomplish this legendary awaits the richest, most delicious milk they've ever had. Although it is only good for a week after its been collected. So it fetches a high price when sold to those with the wealth and inclination to use it.

When you drink Enormilk, you gain resistance to fire damage for 1 hour. Your veins flow with icy chill that protects you from the heat, just like an Enormoose.

This is simply the greatest syrup. It does not compare, it is not in the same class as other syrup. This is a slow dripping, sweet tasting, butter melting dance of delight for your taste buds. It is the feeling of being near the fire as the first snow falls outside. And the satisfaction of knowing that you deserve this moment. It always tastes like victory well earned. When consumed as part of a meal over a short rest it can restore single spell slot up to 1d4 levels.
