Turning Point

This knife has a storied history. It had belonged to a Pinion of old, who died on the front lines of the Decrept War. Inevitably he rose again and walked the Basin searching for living souls to rend apart. Eventually, finding himself faced with the Fortch and returned to his grave.
The weapon, of mundane make but twisted by time and rot, fell to the hands of Reema, under her guise as a would be adventurer it is the dagger she has kept at her side. Ceremonial more than useful to her, but she handed it over when visiting a guild outside of the Whenwinds. She did not know then that the foray would become an attempt at assassinating her.
Although she escaped and returned to the Basin, the dagger bore the emotional venom of the encounter, and accepted the curse uttered by Reema

Turning Point (Cursed Dagger)

Weapon

Very Rare Necromancy Requires Attunement

Finesse, Light, Thrown, Cursed

This dagger is dark and twisted by time and the events surrounding its origin. Unlike some magical items which are crafted by intention and hard work. This dagger is cursed through the emotional power of its circumstances. It is a weapon of traitorous intent and seeks harm to those who hold it.

Finesse. When making an attack with a finesse weapon, you use your choice of your Strength or Dexterity modifier for the attack and damage rolls. You must use the same modifier for both rolls.

Light. A light weapon is small and easy to handle, making it ideal for use when fighting with two weapons.

Thrown. If a weapon has the thrown property, you can throw the weapon to make a ranged attack. If the weapon is a melee weapon, you use the same ability modifier for that attack roll and damage roll that you would use for a melee attack with the weapon. For example, if you throw a handaxe, you use your Strength, but if you throw a dagger, you can use either your Strength or your Dexterity, since the dagger has the finesse property.

Cursed. Anyone handling this weapon finds their tongue sliced, and must roll 1d20. On a 20 it has been severed.
