Personal history

Deserter from some kind of military faction. Saved Booth's life. She didn't like the way the war was going, in particular the last set of orders her unit was given. They were sent in for what they thought was a fight against an opposing military force, turned out it was a bunch of civillians who refusing to be removed from their land/homes. Booth had heard of the incoming military raid and was busy trying to get some of the civillians off planet. He was in a standoff with a small group of her unit, while protecting a building full of those unable to fight.
Dhidai and another two of her group were sent in to kill Booth and those within the building. Once Dhidai realised what her group had been tasked with, she killed the person who was just about to take out Booth and the other member who was about to open fire on the civillians and helped Booth escape with them.
Her unit now has kill orders on her and she has been on the run ever since.
