Leif
Leif was an Unchosen elf who was rescued by the Heroes of New Veluca after they found him gravely wounded. The Chosen eradicated his small tribe, using the apostate elves as a sacrifice to Titania. He declined any further assistance after being healed of his wounds, and left of his own volition with two other survivors to find a new home.
Several weeks later, by chance, he and several of his followers were captured by the villagers of New Veluca. Thanks to the quick intervention of the Heroes, they were spared. He and his small band of elves then integrated themselves somewhat into the community, by way of their peaceful, mild nature, as well as their knowledge of herbalism and the healing arts.
Leif acted as a trusted confidant to the Heroes, a community organizer, and a healer for the remainder of his brief life. Leif's promised long life was cut short when he was killed during a raid by Lakwa's forces.
Leif is still venerated as a minor saint by a small cult of healers and herbalists who operate in and around New Veluca.
