Humans are the main dwellers of the land of Teragon. The people of this land have adapted greatly to their land and the areas in which they live. While the human of this realm has no magic, there are those believed to be cursed with it. Those cursed with magic, however, are not persecuted but are expected to use their magic to help others in atonement of their ancestors' betrayal.

Growth Rate & Stages

Humans reach adulthood in their late teens to early twenties and will live for less than a century, ranging from 60 years to 95 years.

Ecology and Habitats

Once they settle in an area, humans will use what they can in that environment to live and thrive there.  For example, if a group of people live near a mountain, they will utilize the rocks in the area to build strong shelters, or if a group lives near a body of water, they will use that resource to fish and travel.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Able to hunt, fish, farm, and forage for their food. They eat a wide range of things to keep up their nutrients.

No true naming traditions, however, it is not unusual for humans to name their children in relation to where they live and where they are from.

Courtship Ideals

Humans will typically mate for life, and many cultures formalize this through marriage ceremonies. Romantic and sexual relationships outside of marriage and marital infidelity are, however, common, despite being stigmatized to varying degrees, especially amongst the religious.
Having a relationship with a descendant of the dragons is considered taboo and is the equivalent of throwing your life away.

Humans have a very high Technological level, building and inventing devices that help them from agriculture and fishing, to fighting and travel.

All humans speak common, many speak other languages that pertain to their everyday life. Those who are the descendants of dragons do know dragonic.

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals

Each temple and area it resides in have high festivals pertaining to the solstice/ equinox their temple was founded. The Main temple in Arceila celebrates all the same festivals and also solar and lunar eclipses. Every new moon is considered a day of rest.

You are not supposed to be out or working on the night of a new moon due to the belief and fear that a dragon may take you in the night of no light.
