August Reading Challenge and Summer Camp Review (So many things to do...)
So, Summer Camp is over, and boy it took me a little while to get around to writing this (nine days... yikes). I've been mostly doing work and brainstorming. But thanks to all the comments I've been getting on my articles, I've gotten a lot of inspiration, ideas, and to-dos jotted down. (I have articles to fix, because sometimes I tagged the wrong organization...doh!)
I had a great time during the last week or so of the last month working on getting all 40 (nay, 42) prompts done... That was a LOT of work, but I earned the name Flash for how quickly I got them done haha. Let's just say that though I wasn't working on prompts for much of the month, my brain was. Anyway, I had a great time doing the prompts and really finding creative ways to answer them in a way that fit within my world. Certain prompts were just inherently IMPOSSIBLE (or so they seemed) to fit into Teralt. But, I got it done. (see: a form of silent communication) AND WHO ASKED FOR THAT CUISINE PROMPT??? I'M NOT A CHEF!!!!
Anyway, the reading challenge. Oh, the reading challenge. You know, I love reading. I really do. But July was a month of BUSY for me. I just bought a house, so I have a lot of work to do around that, and EVERYBODY wants to go on vacation and do stuff in my free time, so I have even less of that. August ain't much better, folks. Well, this is just a preliminary article, which I will add to as my reading challenge evolves. For now, have yourself a cookie. And if there isn't one nearby for you to have, go find one. This, my friends, is your mission, should you choose to accept it.
