You feel yourself quickly pulled through the portal as you reach out to touch it, but it isn't scary. It feels as though you're being welcomed into a hug, the loving embrace of a long-lost friend.
The view before your eyes is astounding. For as far as you can see, the world is covered in lush forest. The water is the cleanest you've ever seen and, in the distance, you can see a vast city of stone spires.
