Four Treasures of the Eladrin
The Four Treasures of the Eladrin refer to four ancient, magically-enhanced weapons of mythical proportion, said to have been originally forged somewhere within the Feywild and wielded by four unnamed elven warriors during the Millennium War. Whether or not these weapons ever truly existed is a matter of conjecture; assuming they do exist, it is believed that the weapons are scattered across the continent of modern-day Crestfall, waiting to be rediscovered.
History
According to legend, the Four Treasures were created thousands of years ago, crafted by a master Eladrin smith, known only as the Maker. The weapons themselves were said to have been commissioned by four elven generals, believing that a weapon handcrafted for them by the greatest smith in the Feywild to be the ultimate display of wealth and power. Unknown to the generals, the Maker harboured disdain for the Eladrin's invasion of the Material Plane, although she was still duty-bound to complete the weapons that were commissioned from her; in an act of defiance, the Maker secretly imbued each of the Four Treasures with a "spark" of sentience, allowing the weapons to "evolve" and adapt to whoever wielded them. This was done in the hope that each of the weapons would eventually seek out and find a more "worthy" wielder and thus unlock their true full potential. The Four Treasures
The Four Treasures of the Eladrin are as follows:- Fragarach: An enchanted rapier, said to have the power to manipulate the wind and compel enemies of the wielder to be unable to lie.
- Lorg Mór: An enchanted greatclub, said to have the power to imbue life in the allies of its wielder.
- Gáe Bulg: An enchanted spear, said to sprout thorny vines from the wounds inflicted on its foes.
- Claíomh Solais: An enchanted greatsword, said to shine with a radiant light and protect its wielder from harm.
