A group of dissidents try and upend the city of Barrowhome and form a new faith. The Gold House, with aid from the Paladins of the Silver House, kill 3,000 dissidents leading to the installion of the Radiant Duke, a title given to the sworn protector of the city, a hereditary title that is passed down through the Gold House.
