The Clerical Assistant at the Keep, Amanara takes care of much of the planning and logistics of the internal operations of the Keep. She also handles the management of the permanent and temporary staff. She has oversight on the tax records but is not the accountant; all three of them must agree on the contents of the books and the contents of the bank and tax shipments to and from Marleven and elsewhere, so that no one person (or even two people) could defraud the tax ledger. She also is the liaison with the legal advisor who is appointed by the Countess and changes frequently. While she is technically a cleric, she's much more of a clerk than a cleric when it comes to her skill set and daily duties.
For the most part Amanara is quiet and efficient; her boss, the Castellan, can annoy her from time to time with his seemingly random attention to meaningless details - focusing more on the color of the strings than on whether his shoes are tied, she might say. She's a plump and good-natured dwarven woman married to Corbett Foal, who works for the Upper Bailey Weaponsmith Orn Faroun. The recent loss of her youngest son from his getting mixed up with some evil death cult has definitely dampened her good spirits a great deal.
In addition to Godwin, who was born very much later than his siblings, she has two daughters, Tessie and Marita, and two other boys, Ulbrig and Merrick. Tessie and Marita are married off and raising her grandchildren, as is Ulbrig, but Merrick has never quite settled down and moved to the southern coast of the Realm to be a master shipbuilder. Merrick and Ulbrig are both planning to travel back to the Keep to comfort her and commiserate about the loss of their brother, as soon as they can make the arrangements to do so.

General Physical Condition
Amanara is a dense, cylindrical woman who at one time was a happy and friendly woman, blessed with great organizational gifts; but in the past few months she has become withdrawn and sad over her inability to talk her son out of that cult or reason with him. And then the unthinkable happened, and her son, the wonderful and welcome surprise of her later years, who she was sure she could convince to give up this dangerous nonsense and come back to her, is gone forever. The mental strain has taken its toll on her physical appearance in the past couple of weeks.

A well-trimmed set of lambchop sideburns; she keeps her lip and chin smooth.
Apparel & Accessories
Amanara likes to dress in traditional clerical robes including the flat-top veils with the colorful hems and filigree work. She also likes wearing her holy symbol, Coriolis triumphant - a tiny mote of the sun surrounded by golden beams of light, trapped in a yellow gem.

Motivation
Currently going through the motions; mentally exhausted, and her work and what time she gets to spend with her husband are the only things that gives her structure and meaning enough to get through the days. The gravity of the loss of their youngest son is crushing. But she's looking forward to her other adult children coming to the keep to visit her for Godwin's memorial service.
