When members of any guild (merchants, craftspeople, artisans, etc) travel to this area, they are offered the hospitality of this charming 3-story building, with shops on the bottom floor, workshops on the second and lodging on the third floor in several gabled rooms under the high, peaked roof.
The shops at the Guild House are specifically craftspeople and artisans - wood furnishings, clothing-makers, shoemakers, coopers, ceramics-makers, etc, and since the Keep is only so large, a great many things are only sporadically available, when those kinds of craftspeople are in town.
