Corruption

A disease of the divine.

Created and Edited by jmann154
Corruption only affects Kirri who’ve been touched by forces of evil.

Transmission & Vectors

Corruption is spread by chaos and darkness, especially those taken into a cult or evil organisation and do not seek repentance.

Causes

If a Kirri is touched by dark powers and doesn’t attempt to repent, or if they embrace evil, they are considered Corrupted.

Symptoms

Symptoms can include: Irritability, fatigue, vomiting blood, eye-colour changing, loss of wings (if any), rage, darker skin tone

Treatment

Corruption is only treated through constant prayer and repentance to their angelic guide.

Prognosis

A Kirri will first lose contact with their Guide, then will slowly lose power until they are left a husk of their former self, and must be nursed back to health.

Affected Groups

Corruption only affects Kirri, and affects Pure Kirri worst of all.

Hosts & Carriers

The only carriers of Corruption is evil itself, and Fallen Kirri carry it without knowing.

Prevention

Corruption can only be prevented by showing faith to their Angelic Guide and avoiding dark powers.

Epidemiology

Corruption is most commonly spread from Fallen Kirri to another form of Kirri. This makes it hard to avoid for young Kirri.

History

The first record of Corruption is the Second Eon, when the Gods broke into war, and the Ninth Colossus began to corrupt some of the gods, starting with Kalaughra. The infamous Blood Hunter Malcer Hornraven of Ardonnia is a Kirri, but due to the dark forces that mutate every Blood Hunter,
