The Bryar Dagger

An artifact in the Hestoer'ys Museum of Weoponry, the Bryar Dagger was once carried by the Common Lander warrior Jane 'The Last of' Bryar untill her death in 1453 AE durring the fall of Eden.

In artwork Jane is of ten depicted weilding this dagger and ethier wearing a heart necklace made from sapphire or having the necklaces wrapped around the handle of the dagger.

History

According to Jane Bryar's bigraphy written Gallium Maasher, Jane recieved her dagger from her father. Some accounds seem to dramatize this by placing it durring the 1412 Aylish attack on Bryar. This version tells of Jane recieving the dagger from her father as she is rushed away from the burning house with her baby brother — Jasher Bryar — in her arms.

Significance

According to some Deadwoodian scholars this artifact is possesed and still carries the soul of its previous owner. This is believed to have been causes by some sort or emotional trauma Jane Bryar went through while holding the item. This however has yet to have been prooven by traditional Edenite means. Still, there a many spirit seers, however, who have held the weopon in thir hands and have reported visions of the legendary strong woman.

Raw materials & Components

The weopon is made primarily of Common Lander steel. The hilt has some brass that is now tarnished, but likely used to serve as a decoration. The tip of pommel has several knicks in it as well as one dent measurin 1.25 cm in diameter. This likely means that it was somtimes used to bash things like a hammer.
