Anima

Besides shaping The Weave, spellcasters can harness the power of life or Anima. Anima tends to control darker powers. One such study is Hemocraft or, as it is better know, blood magic. People who can't access the Weave tend to turn to Anima magics to gain power, creating pacts with other-worldly beings. Some power-hungry casters will turn to it to prolong their life. This practice is known as Lichdom and almost always corrupts the mind and soul.

Manifestation

Users of Anima magics start to develop warped features from the dark energies that flow through them. The more reliant the caster, the more disfigured they become. However, there is currently only one caster who can use the full power of Anima magics without harmful effects, Vera Elara.
