The Queensdale Three encounter Meti Plaga

General Summary

The Queensdale Three after defeating a warlock hassling the town of Queensdale decided to head on the road towards the major trading city of Broken Arch. Along the road they decide to make a stop at Gleamwood and spend a night at the towns Tavern/Inn 'The Creaking Bow'.   While sitting at the bar enjoying a cooked meal and proper drink for the first time in a couple of days they overheard a handful of traders complaining about goblins that keep attacking their supply carts on the bridge down the road. With the call of adventure they offer to help the traders with their problem, the traders accept their help and offer to pay in return for their efforts. In the morning the group head down the road towards the bridge.   When they get to the bridge they find the surrounding area to the quite beautiful near a cliff face, the bridge itself being over a running stream (around 100 feet below) leading to a waterfall. Getting closer to the bridge they find a small dusty bag that must have been there a while and no sign of goblins or the stolen supplies.   Walking up to the bridge they notice a small blood trail leading onto the bridge to what seems to be a goblin resting up against a wall, seemingly asleep. The group walks on to the bridge and notice that the goblin is not resting it is dead, a sudden feeling of unease sweeps over the three. Before they could assess the situation they find them surrounded by a group of 5 Meti Plaga members.   Even though the party has the art of surprise against them, they are able to hold their ground and dispatch of 4 of the members and decide to bind what seems to be the leader and interrogate her. The leader seems to be crazy and does not give them any information on why they were attacked other than the traders werent real and they were lead into a trap to have some kind of ritual done to them. While bound the leader kicks Anna in the shin giving her some kind of disease via magic she focused into her leg. While not lethal Anna now is not feeling too well mentally, after deciding that they are not getting any more information from her they decide to send her over the side of the bridge into the stream.   After a short rest on the bridge to recover their stamina they head back to Gleamwood, upset about no reward for their efforts. Once they get within a couple miles of the Town of Gleamwood they find that the glow of the sunset on the horizon is not of the sunset, it's fire and smoke.
