The Fathomless Beast

Overview:

Born from the depths of the ocean, the Fathomless is a beast that lurks in the oceans around Terra Meiyer. Legend says this creature is followed by a thick mist that swallows the sea, making it impossible to see its impending attack. For this reason no person has ever seen the monster and lived to tell the tale. On rare occasions, the Fathomless Beast has been known to spare sailors and instead gift them with magic.
