Ro'Kerrig

Originally a mining operation funded by the local nobility, Ro'Kerrig has since become a trading outpost run by the men and women that work there. Known as the outpost responsible for the largest refinement and trade of exotic minerals and ore on the Great Continents. Supplying most of Axton and Ankorrah with exotic minerals and ore, Ro'Kerrig has since become a proud point in Dwarven history.   Most famous for the unique abundance of Darksteel , Ro'Kerrig also produces iron, obsidian and various gems. Before the operation began, darksteel was an extremely rare and little known ore. Its properties poorly understood and it's uses primitive. Since the takeover of the trade post, darksteel has found its way into a variety of applications - ranging to novel or obscure to everyday uses.   The trade post also doubles as a mining operation and a settlement for the workers. All the basic needs are provided for by the structure originally setup by the hiring nobility, maintained after their forced exclusion. A small population by comparison to the surrounding settlements, the people of Ro'Kerrig are a tight-knit community that operate like a well-oiled machine. A society of only Dwarves, they seldom show much interest in any other than those willing to trade. Despite their inherent stubbornness, they are generally considered courteous and pleasant traders, a rare description of a Dwarf.
