Faerûn

Faerûn is one of the major continents on the planet of Toril.
The word Faerûn is a modified version of 'Faerie', the name of the homeland of ancient elves. The term was coined by Durothil, prince of Tintageer.
It is believed the inhabitants of Terra Novus welcomed visitors from Faerûn in the start of times.
