Laemorph (Lay-more-f)
A species of shapeshifters that reside in The Forest. Known for playing tricks and causing mischief, this species avoids Daermin and Forest,Rose, and Ione, with the exception of causing mischief for them.
Each Laemorph has a special plant called a shifting plant, which stays with them at all times. It is this plant that allows them to change between forms, and without it they are stuck in one form until they get it back.

Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Most Laemorphs do not have names, and are simply reffered to by the kind of plant their shifting plant is.
Gender Ideals
Gender does not exist for laemorphs in the same way that it does for humans, and laemorphs are largely distinguished by their shifting plant.
Common Taboos
It is taboo to take a Laemorph's shifting flower, and anyone who does so will be hunted for the rest of their days by the Laemorph's vengeful kin.
Common Myths and Legends
There are many legends about the two deities that walk the forest, as well as how the laemorphs came to be. Many of the ones surrounding the deities are similar in base concept to the ones in daermin culture, and laemorphs often treat the two as dual gods of the world. Each generation of laemorphs continues to pass on these legends, to make sure they are not forgotten.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
The Laemorphs as a collective are easily spooked by Daermin and the two deities in the forest. They generally agree that humans are non-threataning though, and may go out of their way to execute more vicious pranks on humans.
