Resets (Re-seh-ts)

Every hundred thousand millennia, the deities invoke a 'reset', where they wipe the earth of life and build it anew. This also sends anyone in the afterlife to The Lethe.  The world is then built anew, and civilization begins to grow again.

Manifestation

A white fog rolls around the world, covering it entirely. Everything is buried under this fog, although this is not what kills everyone. The deities themselves manage wiping the earth and the afterlife of sentient intelligent life.
