The Phoenix of the Snow

They say you can see them every year, giving out small, delicate feathers with a ruby sheen. They'll give one to everyone and anyone who comes their way, and if no one does, they give them anyways. The firebird's feathers are said to bring warmth in the cold winter season, bringing joy to every home they lie in. It is said that they bring good luck and fortune as well, warming a family's hearts long after winter ends.
However, if you are a truly terrible person with no kindness in your heart, and the firebird gives you a feather, you will suffer misfortune for the rest of your days. If you are greedy and steal a feather, it will warm you for a short while. After that time has ended it will burst into flame, never to be seen again, usually taking the greedy soul with it.
