Aldrjaalgor Tor Volcano Tower

Overview

This is a very small tower resting atop an old volcanic plug at the end of the plateau. It's function is to act as an early warning system for any invasions from the East. However, in reality it acts more as a retirement home for the most ancient of the Dwarven Warriors. The most addled of them believe it to be a truly heroic activity and they fulfill their roles with a fervor and ferocity that makes any visitor believe that an attack is indeed imminent.

Forces Present

At most the tower manages to keep about 50 Dwarves busy, mostly moving up and down the stairs - no one installed a lift for them. The Dwarves are a mixture of classes but normally are dominated by Warriors (these having taken more blows to the head than other classes).
At any one time there will be at least 10 Fighter Lords of 12th level or higher - and at least 3 of 15th level or higher.

The Governor of the Tower is a 20th level Warrior who is slowly losing what is left of his sanity.

Assets

Despite their combined senility and age, their paranoia has won out and allowed them to accumulate a large arsenal of weaponry to repel any given Orc Invasion. Note that non-dwarves in the group may be seen as Orcs by the residents and receive a violent welcome.
