Druid Circle Spring Gyges

Overview

The Spring Circle is a Druidic Circle devoted to Artemis that is populated only by Elven Druids. They are a small 'Legion' and operate out of the more northern climes nearer to the City of Cadiz, despite being mainly stationed in Gyges City.

The Legion is far less than normal legion power - numbering only one tenth of the normal power of a Legion - and each Cohort is based on the level of the individual as a Druid. This means that the First Cohort in this instance is not the most experienced but rather the least experienced members of the Legion.

As the Druid gains levels, they automatically go up in their Cohort (but not their rank) - the rank of the individual is dependent on their work done for the Legion. There are 10 Cohorts in each there are two levels. So level 1 and 2 Druids are in the Cohort I, Level 3 and 4 are in Cohort II, and so it progresses. The number of Druids in each cohort reduces greatly - with upper cohorts acting as leaders or garrison managing and network commanding operatives.

Variations In Names

The Druid Orders are known by several names - all linked to their season. So this is known as the Spring Order, or the Spring Legion, even the Spring Circle are all acceptable name variants.

Composition

The Legion is formed under the trident of the Druid - Magical Units, and carries a standard adorned by the circlet of mistletoe, it is sometimes referred to as a Wreath of Springtime Victory. The system of the legion is loosely derived from the texts found in the Military section of the Royal Library of Atlantis. The Spring Circle is divided into 9 Cohorts - and they seek to operate in odd numbers so their Conturbium is 9 strong. 9 of these together form a Centuria, being an 81 Druid circle. Nine Druids combined is said to form a circle so this has been maintained. WIth a total of 9 Cohorts . The Centuria is each commanded by a Centurion, and a Cohort of 9 Centuria form the

Proof of Power

The Gyges Sprint Circle is a new Druidic Circle in the Gyges, they seek to maintain the balance in Gyges but are largely focused on growing their own power locally.   Entrance into the Legion only comes if you have achieved Level 3, and if the Character has a family connection with the Elves of Cadiz or the Principality of Gadeiros.

Cohort Divisions

3 Divisions are present - each ranked according to level of the character - so level 2, level 3, and eventually a level 4 cohort will be formed - the level 1 cohort is already at 100 druids.
